Exersaucers were a great discovery for us at 4 1/2 months. Once brought home, my son gave me this look like he had been waiting forever for this. He also had a huge love for his Jolly Jumper. After taking him out of either he is wanting to be still play and begs to be distracted by something else. A lot of people do prefer the jumperroo model for safety. Once again this is a personal choice.

There is just so many options out there for your little one. The biggest thing to remember is not to go too crazy. You will have many years to go overboard. Keep in mind that your child is developing quickly and you may want to be looking for something that is a few months ahead developmentally in order to replace the current toys. Another thought would be to keep in mind what will work for your interaction with your baby. If you are someone that is active, keeping this in mind for stroller and car activities may be a thought.
